    Taliban members behead suspected spies
    Caribbean Herald
    Monday 22nd March, 2010

Taliban militants in Pakistan have beheaded three men accused of spying for US forces.

Notes found on the bodies claimed the men had been murdered after they were caught spying for the US.

The bodies were discovered found near Mir Ali in Pakistan's North Waziristan tribal district.

Many local tribesmen have been killed in the past for allegedly spying for forces battling the Taliban-led insurgency in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, at least ten people have been killed in an attack in the Gereshk district in the Afghan province of Helmand.

The intended target was a military convoy, but the victims are reportedly all Afghan civilians who were celebrating the Afghan New Year.
