Iraqis see al-Qaeda flag among dead soldiers
    Caribbean Herald
    Friday 30th July, 2010

Al-Qaeda militants killed 23 members of Iraq's security forces across the country on Thursday.

The worst attack occurred in Baghdad's Sunni neighborhood of Azamiyah where 16 Iraqi security forces were killed.

After the attack, an al-Qaeda flag was placed in the dirt.

The attack came just after a suicide bomber drove his minibus into the gate of an Iraqi Army base near Tikrit, killing four soldiers.
